My verdict on this one is don't bother, although there's a free demo you can check out for yourself if you're curious. Looks like it's all simple loops of the photoshop-morph variety (where you take a 2d image and stretch it a little bit to give it some basic movement).

Kara no Shoujo - Free Trial

The full version isn't quite on sale yet, but there's a free downloadable demo of Kara no Shoujo available on Mangagamer.

The big newsworthy elements of this title are that it's quite well-ranked in fanboy VN databases, it's a grimdark mystery, it has actual mystery-solving as well as just choice-reading, and there are no voices in the English version due to licensing problems.

For me, this may be for the best. I peered at a bit of the anime version of this once and was a bit creeped out. I do not personally want to mix my porn and my bloody violence. However, in a game, which I'm reading for the STORY rather than the, er, wank value - I'm probably okay with it. And not having any agonised screams to make me uncomfortable might be a good thing.

Small Tactics

The listing bills this as tower defense, but it really isn't, it's just a basic real-time strategy game. You click on buttons (most of which are in English!) to spawn your units. Once they're on the board, you can click on them to select them, and then click elsewhere on the map to send them out.

Your opponent is sending things towards your base - you have to send things to theirs and blow it up.

It's supposed to give you naked pics as a reward but this doesn't seem to be the case in the demo, unless it wasn't working right for me.

Unfortunately the game itself is written in KiriKiri and thus requires changing your computer settings to Japanese in order to try playing it. Puzzle Fantasy!

A properly functional hentai bejeweled clone! Technically in Japanese but you really won't need any language to work this out. Click on jewels to swap them and make matches to slowly reduce the girl's clothing. It doesn't auto-reshuffle if you're stuck, you'll need to click the circle-arrow yourself to get new tiles. Heart tiles are a special attack, click on them if you see a cluster to do extra damage.

Sometimes unswappable blocks will appear, especially if you take too long between matches, but they probably won't stop you.

Only one girl available in the free demo but it DOES work on an English windows install.
